NCSU Bookstores
Students are responsible for obtaining all required textbooks. The Engineering Online program strongly encourages students interested in taking courses to choose a textbook supplier that will guarantee a fast delivery of the textbooks. There are a number of online textbook suppliers that provide easy one-stop service.

NCSU Bookstores keeps an active inventory of all textbooks needed for our courses. Students may purchase textbooks online from the NCSU Bookstores. The website for ordering online is available at: http://www.fis.ncsu.edu/ncsubookstores/online.html.

Distance Learning Services

All library services at NC State University are available to the distance education community. The NCSU Library's Distance Learning Services department makes every effort to meet the needs of distance learners at NC State University. Some of the key services and features for distance learners include:

Order books and articles
– regardless of location at no cost. Books are sent via FedEx 2Day delivery; articles are delivered over the web. Look for books in the NCSU Libraries catalog.

Online books, journals, databases and reference sources are available from off campus. Many resources will require that you authenticate with your EOS/Unity ID. Electronic resources include:

 

Database Finder – if you have a topic or subject you want to research
E-journal Finder – if you know the title of the journal you want to find
Course reserves – for supplementary course material
