Degrees
Since 1978, North Carolina State University College of Engineering has been offering a graduate Distance Education program in effort to help engineers and science professionals stay current and productive in their career fields without the constraints of on-campus attendance. The Engineering Online program delivers regular classroom courses that are recorded in specially equipped studios and made available to students via the Internet. These courses are for people with a degree, or extensive experience in engineering, mathematics, statistics or physical sciences. They enhance professional development and may be used towards a Graduate level Engineering degree, partial recognition for on-campus degrees, or in some cases, as course work required for a Ph.D. degree.
