GENERAL NOTES

NOTE: GER –vs- GEP Requirements

Ø    I have updated the GEP requiremetns on the website – none of the PHI courses meet the GK requirement any more

Ø      If you will be trasnferring before Summer II 2011, you can go in under the old GER requirements or the new GEP requirements (in 2+2 & BSE docs).  For those of you with the Econ question, this should take care of you.

·         Please note that I have added an item above for MatLab tutorials. There are eleven lectures that will take your through learning how to use MatLab. When you get in to your upper level courses, you will definitely need to know how to use MatLab. If you are taking an NC State class, you can access MatLab using the Virtual Computer Lab (VCL). Click here to learn how to use VCL.

·         Transferring. If you plan on transferring to NC State Summer 2010 or Fall 2010, then make sure you read above under “Information about Transferring To NC State.”

·        BSE Students, if you will have Cacl-III, Phy-II, 2 Englishes, and Chm-151 complete by the end of Spring 2010, then you should go ahead and apply to NC State for Fall 2010.
