SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS

List below are scholarship opportunities that I have been made aware of. Please do not limit your search for scholarships to this list. There are others out there if you will look.

NC Space Grant Scholarship

"Tom Knott" < tknott@ncspacegrant.org > 12/5/2007 10:43 AM. Each year NC Space Grant awards $2,000 scholarships to undergraduate students who plan to attend an affiliate institution and are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Applications are evaluated based upon the student's academic achievement, letter of recommendation, and exhibited leadership qualities. Further information can be found at: http://www.ncspacegrant.org/fs/s3/ NASA summer internship applications are also open. Students who are interested in NASA or other federal or industry internships should apply to these programs directly through the NASA field center website. NC Space Grant may provide supplementary funding to support these experiences. Students MUST complete an application, however, for either a Graduate Research Fellowship or Undergraduate Research Scholarship in order to be eligible for these supplementary funds.
