     CSC 116 Introduction to Computing - Java

This is an introductory course in computer science with an emphasis on basic computer organization, algorithm development, programming techniques, program structure, data representation, debugging, and program verification. Computer solution of both numerical and non-numerical problems will be completed in Java as a means toward teaching these concepts. 3 credit hours.
